Enrolments

​New enrolments 

To enrol your child at Thornton State School simply contact our school office to collect an enrolment package.

This package includes:

• School handbook (PDF, 434KB)
• Enrolment form (PDF, 2MB)
  
• Code of Conduct (PDF, 2.6M​B)
  

Alternatively you can download the following enrolment forms and send/email them back to the school

• Application for Student Enrolment form (2MB)
• Enrolment agreement (PDF, 147MB)
• Medical details form (PDF, 144KB)

On your child's first school day please bring the following items with you:

• Birth certificate.
• Report cards and records from previous schooling (unless they are transferring from another Queensland State School.
• Special needs information including reports from specialists or medical practitioners (if applicable).

Current parents

To help keep you child's information up to date please advise us urgently if:

• you change your address
• you change your contact details
• there is a change in your emergency contact number
• any significant changes occur with regard to your child’s health
• you feel we should know of any other changes which concern your child e.g. work phone numbers, custody/court orders
